The Rector's Study is meeting weekly for six weeks, starting on Tuesday, October 17. There is a lecture by Fr. Kevin, followed by discussion.
This week's topic: Getting to the English - After the formation of the Christian Church, the Bible as we know it took a winding path on its way to translations in contemporary English. During this third session, we'll walk a bit along this path, travelling from Rome, to Jerusalem, to the halls of Oxford, as the text comes closer to our own time and language.
