Holy Eucharist Rite II and Blessing of Animals

October 2, 2022

October 2: St. Francis’ Day
with Blessing of the Animals
CHANGE OF 10:00 AM WORSHIP VENUE
The Feast of St. Francis will be CONTINUE to be celebrated on Sunday, October 2, with Holy Eucharist at 8 am and 10 am. However, due to the predicted weather over the weekend, a change of venue has been made for the later service.
The 10 am service, with the Blessing of the Animals, will be held in the PARISH HALL so that your pets may still attend the service. Chairs will be spaced out appropriately. So please, bring your pets to worship with you: dogs, cats, horses (OK, maybe NOT horses this year...), guinea pigs, tarantulas (in a cage, please…). Invite your friends and their pets, too! If you do have a horse (or a cow or llama) that needs a blessing, please call Fr. Kevin and he will come visit and offer a blessing for your animal.
Thank you for your cooperation! Even though the weather may be wet, we still want to honor God's creation and offer blessings for our animal friends!
