Fr. Tim Gavin, The Head Chaplain of The Episcopal Academy and Interim Rector of St. Alban’s Church, will lead a discussion of his book, A Radical Beginning: A Journey through the Prayer of St. Francis. He will share his insights into the prayer and what inspired his reflection. In his book, Tim shares personal life stories and various interpretations of the scriptural allusions presented in the prayer that may shed new light on the prayer of our patron. He will also share sections of the book and provide the attendees with opportunities to respond, offer insights, and ask questions.
