Schedule of Events
Friday, February 226 – 9 pm: Art Preview Reception (ticket required)
Meet the artists and enjoy wine and catered small plates. Awards will be presented in two categories, painting and photography. Artwork will include that of students from Episcopal Academy, Great Valley High School and Bayard Rustin High School. This is your first opportunity to view and purchase the art work.
Cost: $20.00 for adults, or $30.00 for both evening events
Saturday, February 23
10 am: Pastel demonstration by Tara Will, juror for the Art Show
10 am to 3 pm: Art Gallery open to public
5 pm: Musical Revue and Reception (ticket required)
Featuring Janna Collins, members of the St. Francis Choir and other local talent performing Broadway, barbershop, and popular tunes, accompanied by our own Joe Perry. A reception hosted by Philadelphia Catering Company will follow the Revue from 6 - 8 pm. Childcare will be provided

Sunday, February 24
Final exhibition and sale of art
11 am to 2 pm: Gallery open to the public
Tickets are available for purchase after the 8 and 10 am Sunday services starting in February, can be purchased online by clicking here, or will be available at the door on the day of the event. Tickets are $20.00 for either evening or $30.00 for both evenings.
Juror of Selection
Tara Will, Juror - Tara Will studied Art and Philosophy at Mount Saint Mary’s University, earning a B.A. in 2006. She is currently a pastelist, working both in her home studio and en plein air. Her plein air work has sent her around the world, exhibiting in China, the UK and Canada. She paints in nationally juried plein air events across the country including California, Cape Ann, MD, Texas, Pennsylvania, and Florida. Tara likes working quickly and deliberately, using bold color and strong markmaking. She recently received master circle status with the International Association of Pastel Societies and exhibited at the National Arts Club in New York City with the Pastel Society of America. Tara has won numerous awards throughout her career, and currently resides in Maryland with her husband and four children. See more of Tara's work at https://www.tarawill.com/.

Darlington Arts Center
Fifty percent of the net proceeds from the 2019 Art & Music Festival will go to the Darlington Arts Center. The Darlington Arts Center, located in Delaware County, strives to serve the cultural needs of a diverse community by providing a school and outreach programs for the visual and performing arts. The Center is a valuable resource for promoting the enjoyment and understanding of the arts for people of all ages as expressed in music, art, dance, and drama.For more information about this wonderful organization, please click here.

Janna Collins
Featured Vocalist
Janna Collins is currently a senior Music Education major at West Chester University. She is originally from Lebanon, New Jersey (Hunterdon County), but is currently student teaching for her last semester of college in the West Chester School District. Back home, Janna works with Music Mountain Theatre in Lambertville, NJ.
