Youth Group

Calling all St. Francis Middle and High School Youth!

The St. Francis Youth Group exists to give our youth an opportunity to come together in a safe and relaxed setting so they can grow, connect with God, connect with each other and serve people in need.

We are a small but mighty group. In 2023 we met in January, February, March, and April on selected Sundays. Our focus was on the environment. We hung our bird houses in March in the courtyard for the birds to be able to build their nests. Happily, some of the houses were actually used!

During the summer the youth leaders from St. Peter’s in the Great Valley and St. John’s, Concord and Deacon Diane discussed joining together to make one big youth group. St. John’s had the first meeting in September with water games and races, St. Peter’s had the youth meeting in October with pumpkin carving and Trunk and Treat, and St. Francis had the November meeting with the making of Advent Wreathes with the help of the West Chester Garden Club. All in all, it was a very successful combination. We look forward to 2024 and continuing our combining of the youth groups!
