St. Francis-in-the-Fields is having a Cookie Walk on Saturday, December 2 from 9 am - 1 pm. This is not a cookie exchange, so come enjoy some treats.
Here's how the Cookie Walk works: for a flat fee of $25.00, you will get a box to "walk" around the undercroft and fill with however many cookies will fit in your box. The choice of cookies is up to you!
We are asking parishioners make cookies to donate and bring them to church on Friday, December 1. Any variety of cookies, bars, or balls are welcomed! Please consider making several dozen. Label them and add a note if they are allergen-free in some way (e.g. no wheat, egg, or nuts). Making cookies ahead of time and freezing them is encouraged. Frozen cookies can be stored in the undercroft kitchen freezer while room lasts. What a great way to try new treats and share them with friends and family during Advent!
All proceeds will go towards the Domestic Violence Center of Chester County. Please sign up in the Narthex to make some of your own delicious cookies, and then come early on December 2 to fill a box of your own.
Contact Karen Richards with questions or to volunteer to help on December 2.
